If Mars had . . .

When I was a kid, mankind had yet to  land on the Moon or explore space. We knew little about other planets but were wildly intrigued by the possibilities of alien life elsewhere. Particularly fascinating was Mars, the red planet with little green inhabitants. I remember imagining what Mars might look like if only we could see it. This series of paintings aims to recapture the “what if” wonderment I felt.
